Buying gifts for book lovers can be really good fun, we have so many passions and love so many stories, there’s an endless line of things to buy!

Obviously coming in first, we have… BOOKS!

If you know a story that your bookworm loves, then a quickie google will bring up a whole list of similar reads.

Some brilliant books I’ve read this year that I’d recommend are:

The Shadow of the Wind

Children of Blood and Bone

The Poppy War

Bookmarks

To go with that new book, how about a bookmark? You can get some really lovely designs if you know where to look. Etsy is a go to place for me, if you type in your fandom followed by the term bookmark, there are some really great items.

A few of my favourite online shops for bookmarks are:

FictionTea Designs

Read the Stars

Literary Galaxy

Bookish Jewellery/accessories

Bookish jewellery is perfect for your little bookworm, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, you name it! I love my pair of bookish earrings from the Etsy store Literary Galaxy, they’re perfect to show off my love for reading. I’m also obsessed with my Storiarts gloves that have pages of Strange the Dreamer in their design.

Some really fab shops for online shopping are:

Literary Galaxy

Storiarts

Literary Emporium

Candles

What book lover doesn’t like a candle to accompany their reading time? I have a fair old collection dependant on what kind of a mood I’m in. I love my bookish themed smells, especially to light alongside reading about the characters they’re based on.

Some great candle shops include:

Bookish Burns

In the Wick of Time

Happy Piranha

A lovely notepad

Bookworms and bloggers can never have enough notepads! So why not find a really special one? For my birthday my boyfriend bought me an amazing leather-bound Lord of the Rings inspired notebook from Etsy. Even something as simple as a personalised pad, we love our stationary!

Their favourite film script

Not strictly book related, but getting a copy of the script of your favourite film is such a special gift. You can find these easily online with a quick google. I’ve seen quite a few signed copies on my adventures around various ComicCons.

Let me know in the comments if you have any gift ideas for a book lover.
