April was a very odd month for me, smack bang in the middle of it something happened that totally threw me and didn’t result in good things for my mental health. As the month went on I tried to look after myself and find positive moments in my life. I’m still not in top shape, but I’m trying to get there and adapt.

I had a really fun reading month, picking up books I really fancied reading, like In At The Deep End and Bloom. There were a few readathons going on this month too that I sort of took part in, but it was a weird April for me so I didn’t care too much how strictly I was following them.
My favourite read of the month was definitely Kate Davies’ In At The Deep end, it was so funny and real that I couldn’t help but love it!
Films
The Passion of the Christ // 2 STARS
Unicorn Store // 5 STARS
Antman and the Wasp // 3 STARS
The Silence // 3 STARS
Avengers: Endgame // 5 STARS
What To Expect When You’re Expecting // 3.5 STARS
I really enjoyed the films I watched this month, it was a big one for Marvel fans with Avengers: Endgame coming out. I ADORED this film and have a full spoiler review written. It’s not often you see a franchise take off like this one and then have such a heroic and epic ending.
TV
Game of Thrones // 5 STARS
Queer Eye // 5 STARS
What can I say about Game of Thrones? This show is amazing, it is flawless and superb and one of the best things I’ve ever watched on TV. The length of time it has been running means it has captured a huge audience and it just keeps getting better. I can’t wait to see how they end the final series, but I also don’t want to say goodbye to it. I may be due a rewatch again!

Writing
I’m starting a new section of my wrap up this month! I started writing a book in April and I thought it could be fun to document my experience. So far it is at chapter one, but I’m loving it. It’s a Middle-Grade novel and I’m so happy with it so far. I have it all planned out and I’m really excited to keep going with it and try and turn it into something amazing.
I’ll update you each month on my progress and word count, right now as I only started it at the end of April, I’m up to just over 2,000 words.

GoT and Queer Eye have also been my faves lately. I don’t even know where to start for GoT, but Queer Eye is just the best show to watch when you feel down or when you want to cry at every single episode!
So sorry about what you went through in April! But remember you are incredible and an inspiration to many people (including myself)
Also…I really need to jump on the Queer Eye train…
I’m so sorry that April wasn’t the best month, I hope that May has been a little better so far, sending you all the positive vibes and take care of yourself! <3 On the bright side, yay for starting to write, so happy you're enjoying it so far, best of luck for your story <3
