Get to know me
Hello lovely humans, I’m Beth, I love nature and being outside, reading (big time), Lord of the Rings, gaming, film, and photography! When I’m not reading, playing Zelda or listening to music, you can usually find me with a camera in my hand. I have OCD and ADHD and think of them both as my little superpowers to balancing loads of spinning plates and getting shit done.
Usually, people hear reader and gamer and assume introvert, but I’m a massive extrovert and people person. I love chatting with people, getting to know them, and making them smile. Creating content online has given me an amazing outlet to do just that. I love the space I have created here and I love being able to share my passions with my community, especially on Patreon.
Since starting to create content in 2016 I’ve won three awards including the bCreator Book Creator of the Year award in 2021 which was such an honour to be even nominated for, let alone win! I’m also a wedding photographer and a freelance social media manager so if you ever need any content or photos, I’m your gal.

About my blog
My blog started in 2016, I was finishing uni that year and I wanted an outlet to still feel creative, so I launched both my blog and Instagram account. It quickly grew into a community for me, a space to express myself, talk about what I loved most… books and to find fellow book lovers. Over the years my blog has changed shape a fair bit and expanded to include many more topics like film, travel and more recently, digital detoxing. Whilst I’ve leant more into video and image based content in recent years, I still love having this writing based space as an outlet.
