If you’re a reader of any kind you must know about World Book Day, it’s a brilliant event that is designed to spread the word about books and encourage more people to read! I have been a reader all of my life and for that I have my mum to thank, we always read fantastical and entrancing stories when I was a kid and since my first page, I haven’t been able to stop. Now my obsession stems to a small in-house library and a book being glued to my hand at all possible times.
I love that we have a day dedicated to books, you can’t beat it! I will be spending as much of March 1st reading as I possibly can, so to get you into the reading spirit I’m helping World Book Day out with a giveaway!
The World’s biggest celebration of reading for pleasure, World Book Day, returns this year on Thursday 1st March. World Book Day Authors for 2018 include Clare Balding, Adam Hargreaves, Tom Fletcher, Andy Griffiths and Julian Clary. World Book Day delivers millions of £1 book tokens (€1.50 in Ireland) to children and young people across the UK and Ireland in order for them to claim a free World Book Day or a discount on other books.
