Halloween is fast upon us, have you sorted your costume yet? If you’re a bookworm looking for inspiration, I have a list of literary characters you could dress up as!
Let’s break the mould of the nameless witch, a black cat or a mummy for Halloween and pick some of the more interesting characters from books to dress up as! I’ve categorised this by books and then picked out my top three most unique and fun character dress up ideas. This list includes classics, children’s, fantasies and young adult novels and for fun I’ve added a couples category.

The risk with bookish costumes is that someone might not recognize you if their imagination is different from yours. I’ve definitely done Harry Potter costumes before though!
