June was a month of very hot weather, a reading slump, motivation to work more on my blog and a new Instagram theme.

This month I watched four films, the best one was probably the new Jurassic World film. I thought it ended too soon and lacked a little in the plot towards the end, but it was fun and action packed, so it entertained me! The film I Remember You was by far my worst watch, categorised as fantasy by Amazon Video for some strange reason, it was about two people who meet and think they’ve known each other before, that’s it, that’s the plot. Would not advise it, that’s the last time I listen to Amazon Video! As for the other films I watched, here’s my list of ratings in order of viewing:

Deadpool 2 // 3 STAR
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom // 3 STAR
The Backup Plan // 2 STAR
Beauty and the Beast (live action) // 3 STAR
I Remember You // 1 STAR

I also started back up on Once Upon a Time again, I stopped watching this many series ago as it just become too long and disjointed. But the other day Amazing Video wasn’t working for me to watch Vikings, so I picked Once back up. I like that it’s familiar and easy, so I’ll probably continue to dip in and out of it. Of course I had to add Crazy Ex Girlfriend back on the list as my boyfriend and I continue our obsession!

Once Upon a Time // 3 STAR
Crazy Ex Girlfriend (continued) // 4STAR

Okay so the only book I finished this month, I say whilst hiding under my duvet, was Legendary by Stephanie Garber. It was really good fun, but it took a while for me to get into the reading flow. I’m blaming my holiday, as the speed at which I finished books there meant I just couldn’t keep up when I was back in the UK and back to work. I am nearly done with my current read though if that can slide on in here? It’s called The Book of Secrets, a Da Vinci Code style plot, very exciting, very fun, and a book that has been giving me goosebumps.

I went to a Dragon and Fairy Day in Avebury this month, the weather was lovely, the vibe was really chilled. It was a really nice day out with my mum, we love Avebury anyway, if you don’t know then it’s a town with Stone Circles similar to Stonehenge. Full of spiritual going ons and events that tap into the soul of this Earth, it’s a really nice place to be. On this same weekend I walked up to a castle ruin that looks over the town I used to live in, one of my favourite spots for both its view and familiarity.

Lastly for things I’ve got up to this month, I’ve really been revamping my blogging, if you didn’t notice! I have decided to use a bullet journal style to plan out my content and when to post and it’s working so far. I want to take this more seriously and really dedicate myself to creating good, strong content. So far I’m seeing it’s paying off, so I’m happy!
I’ve also played around with my Instagram theme and created something new there, sometimes things need a change about to keep you feeling interested and inspired. I always find inspiration in the work of others, so it’s been great to chat with new friends online and see the content they are posting.
On top of this I thought I’d set myself one more challenge and I created Bee Social, a Twitter and Facebook community for people to share their blog posts. I’ll be writing a post about it soon enough I’m sure, but for now you can just follow the accounts and share your content with me and others!

I hope June has been a good one for you! July is my birthday month, as well as the month of YALC so I’m super excited for it, it’s going to be a good one!
