720 hours of November

November, November, November, a busy month for me! This month I went to Rome for a week, I watched A LOT of films, I won a quiz night, the new Fantastic Beasts film came out. It was a good one for sure in the lead up to December’s festivities. 🎄

Travelling to Rome was amazing, I had such an amazing time and I think we really did get to see just about everything! You can’t beat actually being stood in-front of the Colosseum, or gazing up at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. But more on that in a very special Rome blog post, so keep your eyes out for that.

The Secret History // 4.5 STAR
Tilly and the Bookwanders // 4 STAR

I didn’t read a massive amount of books this month, but that was mainly down to me starting the beast that is The Priory of the Orange Tree. This book is huge and I had to pause reading it whilst I went on holiday because it was too big to bring. So you’ll be seeing that one featured in next month’s wrap up. The books I did finish though, were excellent reads that I really enjoyed!

Downsizing // 2 STAR

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald // 5 STAR

Zack and Miri Make a Porno // 2.5 STAR
American Pie presents Beta Hour // 0.5 STAR
When We First Met // 3 STAR
The Princess Switch // 3.5 STAR

I managed to get through quite a few films, most of them pretty pants to be honest. But I loved the new Fantastic Beasts movie, you can read my full review if you’d like know all of my thoughts. A lot of the other films I watched this month were ones we downloaded to watch during our down time on holiday. A special note to American Pie for being one of the worst and most sexist films I have ever seen, it succeeded only in making me mad. I quite enjoyed The Princess Switch, a new Netflix original Christmas film. It was exactly what I expected, but it was cute and cosy and certainly Christmassy!

November Favourites

I bought an amazing new coat in November, it’s grey and goes down the floor and I am obsessed with it! The only issue is that it’s so long, I can’t really wear it if it’s been raining or the bottom will get dirty. As well as my coat, I’ve also been living my best mustard life and buying every mustard item of clothing that I lay my eyes on. My boyfriend has asked me what I’ll do when it’s no longer in fashion, my answer is I shan’t care and will wear it no matter what!

I had a big hair cut this month, snip, snip! I went from hair going well past my shoulders, to just above the shoulder and I love it. I also had a balayage done, something I’ve never had done to my hair before but I love it. Here’s some before and after photos!

I think that’s it for my little monthly wrap up, let me know how your November was in the comments!
