Most Anticipated 2018 Releases!

17/12/2017

There are some pretty amazing books coming out next year, so I thought I’d highlight my top five!

Lean on the Offbeat is by the fantastic author of Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and The Upside of Unrequited, Becky Albertalli. This woman is a powerhouse of empowering and diverse writing, she’s amazing! This book is following one of the characters from Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, but you don’t have to have read that for this to make sense, I think?

Release date: 24th April

A Court of Frost and Starlight AKA another book in the world of Rhysand and Feyre darling! Yes! Love this series so much, not for the writing style, but just the story. It’s exciting, it’s epic and I love the characters. This is book 3.5 in the series, but I am pretty damn ready for it!

Release date: 1st May

This is such an exciting release for me! It’s number two in the Caraval series by Stephanie Garber, a book I absolutely lovvvvveeeeed! This world is so magical and exciting and you never know what’s going to happen, so I am very ready for the sequel. I think this is probably going to be my most anticipated book of the year in 2018.

Release date: 29th May

I bought the first book in this series whilst I was in Canada and I devoured it! It was about Lady Jane Grey but with a much funnier side. I read the book in a couple of days and completely fell in love with it, so I’m sure this Jane Eyre retelling is going to be no different! These ladies write a perfect mix of historical fiction and comedy.

Release date: 26th June

The Muse of Nightmares is the next book in the Strange the Dreamer series by Laini Taylor, the first book went right up there in my favourites list because it was just awesome! This series paints such a vivid world for the reader, it’s hard not to feel like you’ve fallen right into Weep.
